The Acacia dealbata Silver Wattle is a fast growing evergreen tree or shrub with a pale green trunk, brilliant yellow fluffy flowers throughout winter to spring and large silvery pinnate leaves. As often with delicate plants, it is best planted against a sunny wall as this will offer protection in cooler climates. The tree exhibits popular golden Mimosa of florists with ferny foliage and yellow flowers in February/March that are intensely fragrant. The Acacia will grow to approx. 4 metres x 3 metres (12 feet x 3 feet). It is also toxic and may cause severe discomfort if any part of it is ingested. Awarded with RHS AGM (Award of Garden Merit)
