The Portugese Laurel is one of the most popular hedging plants. Its evergreen foliage and hardy nature make it a perfect option to create an instant screen to increase your privacy. The foliage is much more attractive than the Common laurel, however it is not as fact growing as the Common laurel but can still grow upto 30cm per year in ideal conditions. Additionally fragrant white flowers appear in the summer months which eventually mature into small dark berries. Thrives best in light shade.
