The Christmas Berry (Photinia x fraseri 'Red Robin') is a spectacular evergreen, growing 5ft-8ft making it the perfect height for a stunning hedging plant. The Christmas Berry is a hardy plant that is tolerant of most soil types but prefers a partially shaded position in moist, well drained soil. With glossy, dark green, leathery leaves and a new growth of brilliant red, giving a stunning display especially in the spring. The new growth turns to bronze by late spring then to green, but all new flushes of growth throughout the growing season are brilliant red.
