The Cherry Plum (Prunus Cerasifera) is a distinctive tree which is grown for its dark red foliage and edible fruit. In the spring clouds of pink flowers will appear and are followed by edible red fruits which can grow about 1 inch. They will tolerant any soil and will need full sun.
The leaves are about 1-2 inches long and dark green. They are semi-double fragrant flowers they are pink-red and bloom in late winter, early spring. The leaves are reddish purple in spring and will turn greenish bronze in the summer.
