The Burkwood Osmanthus (Osmanthus x burkwoodii) is a luxurious, compact evergreen shrub which makes an excellent hedge or solid screen backdrop if not exposed to strong north or east winds. Displaying beautiful aromatic jasmine-like flowers which are often harvested to make perfumes and scented soaps, the Burkwood Osmanthus hedge thrives in fertile and well drained soil. For best results, prune the Burkwood Osmanthus hedge after flowering.
