Box is a hardy, native, evergreen plant, perfect for creating a low growing formal hedges. Box is one of the most versatile garden plants as it can also be used in topiary or as a stand alone evergreen shrub. Despite only growing 15cm per year it is a highly popular option. Box is shade tolerant and thrives in most soil conditions. In winter small yellow flowers can be seen.
