The Austrian Pine Tree (Pinus nigra austriaca) is an evergreen Pine with dense spreading branches and fast growing when young. The Austrian Pine has tufty, dark blackish-green needles, with dark grey-brown cones) which are very attractive to wildlife. As an ideal windbreak, the Austrian Pine is a hardy plant that is tolerant of a variety of soil types and positions.
