All plants in this section make fantastic hedges. If you're not sure which one to go for, as a starting point, think about where you are planting the hedge. Whereas all Laurels will tolerate most conditions, some varieties really do stand out in their usefulness as plants for difficult situations. If you need a hedge for a shady sheltered location then go for the Japanese Laurels, or if you're planting in a very cold and windy spot then choose the Portugeuse Laurel - it's a really hardy plant that is very attractive and creates a really great hedge.
When you've decided upon what variety of plant you want, then you need to think about what type of plant you would like to order. We offer cell grown starter plants, field grown bare root plants for great value and instant hedging plants in troughs and staggered planting pots. There's also root balled plants if you need larger specimens and even the old faithful pot grown that can be planted at anytime.
